Each month, Pinion hosts an evening called APEX that brings together Pinion owners, watch bloggers and horology enthusiasts for watch related discussion in the surroundings of one of London’s coolest members-only clubs, Century.
On April 26th, Pinion held the third gathering of 2016 and bought the whole Pinion watch collection, providing a perfect opportunity for the guests who had never seen the watches a chance to try them on and view the design details. Pinion founder, Piers Berry was also on hand to tell the story behind the company, what inspires him in the design of the watches and his plans for future models that are yet to be released.
Naturally, the topics of conversation often move from Pinion to discuss other timepieces that guests bring along or new models that they have seen online or at Baselworld in March.
In attendance this time was Alastair Jones who runs a British watchmaking blog called ‘Gringetime.com’ and English watch blogger / photographer, Simon Cudd who provided the excellent photos shown here, shot on his Leica Q camera.
